Margaret Kronfeld - Staying Fit During a Busy Work Schedule

Margaret Kronfeld is a successful business professional who is currently the company director for BK Enterprises in New Zealand. Throughout her career, Kronfeld has been dedicated to her job, managing marketing, staffing, budgeting, and many other challenges with ease. However, for those who are dedicated to their careers, it can sometimes be difficult to stay in shape. Kronfeld is very passionate about fitness and health, and takes measures to ensure that she always stays in shape, no matter what her job throws at her. If you are in a busy work position and find it difficult to stay fit, here are some tips to help you. 

- If you can, walk or ride a bike to work instead of driving. This will give you some relatively easy exercise in your daily routine that won’t take too much time out of your schedule. You’ll also get to enjoy time outside, and you’ll be saving money on gas. Additionally, you’ll reduce your carbon footprint, which is something that is very important during this time of global warming. 

- Look for exercises you can do anywhere with little to no equipment. Going for a run is always a great option, or if you have the space at home, you can try a Pilates or yoga workout. This way, you won’t have to waste any time getting ready to work out when you need to get things done on the job. 

- Make social time do double duty by working out with your friends, coworkers, or family. If you find that others at your job struggle with the same challenges when it comes to staying in shape, get everyone together for a fun game of basketball, hockey, football – whatever sport you like. You could also work out while spending time with your kids by taking them to a park and running around with them. When you are spending time with people that you love, working out won’t feel like a huge challenge, and you won’t have to reorganize your schedule to do it, either. 

- If you have your own office, try incorporating small workouts into your workday. When you start to feel a mid-day slump coming on, you can get up and do some jumping jacks, squats, or another exercise that helps target your goal areas. If you are willing to invest in some exercise equipment, you could even get a treadmill desk! Although this may seem a little extreme, it can really make a difference if you are finding that you just don’t have any other time to exercise.
